The Italian tax on digital services and, more generally, the taxation issue of the digital economy, have long been at the center of the public debate which often sees the interests of multinational companies in the sector clashing with the governments struggling with a pandemic crisis. For this reason, the Digital Tax has important political and economic implications in particular with respect to commercial relations between Italy, Europe and the United States, also in the light of the latest decisions made by the USTR.

Together with the speakers we will analyze the current framework and the possible developments on the subject in the OECD and the European Commission to understand the impacts on businesses.
