Is AmCham membership open to American businesses only?

No. All businesses and professionals with offices in Italy and/or outside national territory, with economic, cultural, and commercial interests in the United States, can apply to join AmCham.


Does AmCham work with other organizations?

AmCham works in close contact with the US Chamber of Commerce in Washington, ECACC, CASE, the USA Mission in Italy, Local Chambers of Commerce in the United States and Italy, Industry Associations in the United States and Italy, and all American Chambers of Commerce in the world.


What types of members belong to AmCham?

How do you join AmCham?

Membership in the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy is applied for by filling out the online form. Once the application is submitted, as per the Statute, art.2 - Members, it will be submitted for the official approval of the Executive Committee that meets once a month. Once approved, the applicant will receive an email confirming the application's approval, along with the request to pay the membership fee, and payment instructions.

Are support services for exporting business to the United States fee-based?

All services providing support and assistance for the internationalization of business in the United States are fee-based, with precedence given to AmCham Members, which are charged reduced fees.
