The American Chamber of Commerce in Italy (AmCham Italy) is a private, non-profit organization founded in Milan on April 13, 1915. Affiliated with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C., it is part of a global network of 117 American Chambers of Commerce operating across 103 countries, representing more than three million businesses worldwide.
Marco Peronaci and Tilman Fertitta serve as Honorary Presidents of AmCham Italy for the duration of their respective terms.
AmCham Italy is also a founding member of the European Council of American Chambers of Commerce (ECACC), based in Brussels. Through this affiliation, it supports and promotes transatlantic trade and investment, advocating for stronger economic relations and free trade between the European Union and the United States.
