Obesity is one of the major global health challenges of our time, with significant social, economic and healthcare system implications. With the recent approval of its Obesity Law, Italy has positioned itself as a European model for public-private cooperation and an integrated approach to prevention and treatment.
The event “The Obesity Challenge: Italy’s Role in the World” celebrates this milestone and marks the beginning of a new phase of international collaboration, with the launch of the Cardiovascular Obesity Tackling Alliance, a transatlantic platform designed to share experiences, policies and innovations in addressing obesity and non-communicable chronic diseases.
A dialogue among institutions, the scientific community, businesses and civil society to collectively build a healthier and more inclusive future.
