The event brought together policymakers, industry leaders and scientific experts to discuss how Europe can develop a coordinated agenda to address obesity and cardiometabolic diseases, with a particular focus on their growing impact on public health systems and economic resilience.
Held against the backdrop of the European Parliament and with a focus on the Cardiovascular, Diabetes and Obesity Tackling Alliance (COTA), the discussion explored innovative policy solutions, transatlantic and intra-European cooperation, and multi-stakeholder partnerships aimed at making the prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular and metabolic conditions a central pillar of Europe’s future health strategy.
