Luiss Business School and the Life Sciences Strategic Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy are pleased to invite you to the institutional event “The Contribution of American Pharmaceutical Companies in Italy. What Strategy to Strengthen Italy’s Leadership in Pharmaceutical Innovation”, organized with the patronage of the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy and the Rome Chamber of Commerce. The event will take place in Rome, at the Temple of Hadrian in Piazza di Pietra, on March 24, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
During the event, the report “Innovation by U.S. Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical Companies in Italy” has been presented for the first time. The report was commissioned by AmCham Italy to Luiss Business School and developed with the non-binding contribution of AbbVie, Bristol Myers Squibb, Gilead, Vertex, Incyte, Eli Lilly and Pfizer. Building on the study’s findings, the event aims to foster a concrete dialogue between institutions and businesses on the role of American pharmaceutical companies in Italy, the sector’s innovation outlook and the actions needed to strengthen Italy’s attractiveness as a leading hub for pharmaceutical innovation.
