Upon request, the Business Services team can offer the following services for companies that wish to open commercially to the United States market or that, already present with their products, have a commercial expansion plan.
Services provided by the Business Services team to exporting companies
- Customs and any federal and/or state excise taxes on exportation in accordance with the product type, based on HTS code classification
- Analysis on any regulations and/or certifications required for importing the individual product
- Analysis of any prohibitions against importing
- Identification and analysis of the territorial area where the industrial and commercial district for the exported product is present
- Identification of commercial operators present in the specific district (importers, distributors, retailers, trading companies, etc.)
- Detailed list or lists of identified operators, including company description, website, address, contacts of managers, etc.
- At the company’s specific request, direct contacts by AmCham with United States counterparts identified to facilitate a possible meeting, by phone or in-person, with the Italian exporting company.
The services intended for exporting companies are assessed on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the company’s specific request, and estimated for formal acceptance.
