Since the first day of containment made necessary in order to limit the spread of coronavirus in the country to the extent possible, AmCham Italy, in full compliance with the government’s directives, guaranteed its Members the continuation of its main activities through the adoption of safe, smart-working practices.
The absolute priorities of this "new normal" are the following: to continue to keep our network informed of the developments of the situation connected to the pandemic’s spread, both nationally and internationally, with particular attention to the evolving situation in the United States.
Communication to the outside in this regard has thus become essential for AmCham, so as not to neglect its role as facilitator of relations among Members, also through constant information, in addition to being the main interlocutor with institutions, the Italian-American business community, and the United States.
Thus, the newsletter "Coronavirus impact. AmCham how-to guide" came into being: a short guide sent weekly to our whole network, in order to be able to spread the most important news on COVID-19. Each issue of this newsletter opens with a message addressed to the Members of Amcham Italy by illustrious figures connected with the Chamber who, with their words of friendship, encouragement, and support for our business community, have made this new communication channel even richer and of greater symbolic value for us all.
