The battle against coronavirus is being fought during these hours also through an extraordinary solidarity competition featuring private citizens, major players in business and finance, figures from the world of show business and sports, and institutions, all engaged with their own instruments and in keeping with their own capabilities, alongside healthcare personnel throughout the country who are having ever greater difficulty in coping with the expanding epidemic. It is a demonstration that the sense of community in our country is alive and well, and that we can all make our contribution towards saving a life!
All proceeds from the fundraising efforts launched during these weeks will in fact help hospitals purchase ventilators, suits, masks, and everything else needed to fight the battle against the coronavirus.
Of the initial initiatives, the one of the Region of Lombardy was followed by those of the Municipality of Milan, and of the great many other public and private institutions in support of local hospitals.
