Areas of Focus
The Committee focuses on the enhancement of corporate heritage, examining the strategies adopted by companies in both Italy and the United States to preserve and promote their historical and cultural assets. Particular attention is given to the role of artificial intelligence in supporting the management, preservation and accessibility of corporate heritage, as well as to the broader contribution of businesses to the protection and promotion of cultural assets for the benefit of society. The Committee’s work is framed within an evolving regulatory landscape that recognizes cultural heritage not only as a source of identity but also as a strategic driver of economic value, innovation and sustainable development.
Next Steps
To achieve these objectives, the Committee will adopt a multi-phase approach. The first phase will focus on mapping the corporate heritage enhancement strategies implemented by companies and institutions in Italy and the United States, engaging a broad network of stakeholders. This will be followed by a comparative analysis of existing approaches to identify current practices, emerging trends and future opportunities. Building on these findings, the Committee will develop policy recommendations aimed at strengthening the enhancement of corporate heritage in Italy, drawing on relevant U.S. best practices and successful international experiences.
