The AI Committee focuses on key strategic areas related to the development and adoption of artificial intelligence, including the comparison between European and U.S. regulatory approaches, the strengthening of collaboration with universities and research institutions, and the promotion of an AI culture within the Italian industrial ecosystem. The Committee also supports the growth of innovative startups and SMEs, addresses issues related to digital sovereignty and the importance of transatlantic cooperation, and promotes the sharing of best practices and successful AI applications.
Next Steps
The Committee’s upcoming activities include the development of a Position Paper to be presented to Italian institutions, the organization of institutional discussions and the establishment of partnerships with research and academic institutions. The Committee will also launch knowledge-sharing initiatives aimed at promoting the responsible, ethical and sustainable adoption of artificial intelligence.
