Beyond providing essential defense and protection capabilities, the sector promotes advanced research, creates highly skilled employment opportunities and generates significant technological spillovers across civilian industries, including telecommunications, transportation and environmental applications.

• Defining a strategic roadmap to identify priority areas for investment in technological capabilities and opportunities for collaboration with U.S. industry players.
• Conducting scenario analyses to assess and quantify the production capacity gap required across the Aerospace & Defense supply chain.
• Developing policy recommendations and proposals for institutions aimed at optimizing sectoral investments and supporting the growth of technological capabilities and industrial capacity.

Next Steps

The Committee is currently reviewing and validating the structure of the Position Paper and defining the related Communication Plan, with the objective of completing and publishing the document by the end of the year.
