ABOUT CHIARA ERCOLE

Chief Executive Officer of Saclà, the Italian family company that has been producing high quality condiments and vegetable products for both the Italian and foreign markets for 80 years. Beside her work in the company, since 2017 she has also been an elected member of the Central Council of Young Entrepreneurs of Confindustria and a member of the North West Advisory Board of Unicredit since 2015. Graduated with honors in International Economics and Finance at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan in 2008 she earned a Master in Business Administration from the Copenhagen Business School in Copenhagen in 2013 and a Master in Vegetarian Nutrition and Dietetics at the Polytechnic University of Marche in 2012.

"The US market represents the most significant export market for Italian wines and is one of the main ones for the agri-food industry. The territory in which my company operates has a great tradition and vocation for wine and food and I believe that the commercial potential of relations between the Asti area and the United States is still largely unexpressed. Through my representation in AmCham, I hope to contribute to the development of useful commercial relations and cultural activities."

ABOUT CARLO ROBIGLIO

A first-generation entrepreneur, for thirty years in the publishing field and always active in the Confindustria area. After classical studies and a law degree, he worked as  a publisher (a real passion for him), seeking over the years to develop it and reinvent it: the Ebano Spa Holding, of which he is the founder and president, encompasses these prerogatives through the companies and startups that make it up. Besides the Holding, he also covers the role of president of Piccola Industria Confindustria, of vice president of Confindustria and vice president of the Board of Directors of Il Sole 24 ORE.

One of the drivers of our country's competitiveness is represented by the capacity of our companies to internationalize and create structured business partnerships that can create long-term value; in this sense, the United States represents a partner of absolute reference and interest for Italian SMEs, not only in terms of commercial opportunities but, above all, of technological transfer potential. For such reasons and given my role in the Confindustria system as president of Piccola Industria, I believe I can make a contribution in this direction.”
