SelectUSA Tech will be holding a CleanTech Virtual Inbound Investment Mission in February 2022. This mission will target global CleanTech companies that are actively planning or pursuing a U.S. expansion. Programming will run from February 15-17, with the networking platform open to participants the entire week of February 14-18.  The event is virtual and free to attend.

For this event, "CleanTech" signifies technologies that contribute to a transition to net-zero emissions, especially renewable energy production, storage, or transmission. This includes, but is not limited to, solar and wind energy, energy efficiency, and battery storage.

The event will be promoted to CleanTech startups from around the world who roughly meet current SelectUSA Tech criteria (priority consideration will be given to startups who meet each of the criteria listed on the main event page).

Sessions will include presentations from the U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. Department of Commerce; presentations by four selected economic development organizations; and several webinars involving external speakers. There will also be a pitching session, during which selected startups will pitch to a panel of judges and live audience.

The networking component will focus on connecting CleanTech startups, economic development organizations, and "Tech Partners," which may include venture capitalists, accelerators and incubators, and other tech-focused service providers.
