Intellectual Property Rights

The Intellectual Property Rights Committee carefully follows all the main themes of interest in the area of IP, which include adoption of the Copyright Directive, analysis of the European Programme in the matter of the protection of intellectual property, and the progress relating to the other Community areas of interest. Great attention is dedicated to new phenomena and possible developments in the matter of the Patent Box, which the Committee has been dealing with since the early beginning.

The Committee is also engaged in monitoring and studying the decisions of the main Italian courts in the matter of intellectual property rights.

In order to favor the integration of a set of regulations that is as harmonious and organic as possible, the Committee holds a continuous dialogue with institutional players, presenting them with ideas and proposals.
