Data Privacy Information (pursuant to article 13 of Legislative Decree n. 196/2003)
AmCham Italy, in compliance to article 13 of Legislative Decree n. 196/2003 ( the “Decree”), informs that:
- the Data provided shall be processed in compliance to the dispositions of the Decree;
- The process sing of the Data shall have the following purposes:
(i) Registration on Amcham’s Italy website (www.amcham.it) for the carrying out on the same of all those activities reserved to the registered users (by way of example: purchase of the participation to an event, visualization of the Year Book, visualization of the Committees’ records and Task Force, visualization of the Committee’s White Paper, visualization of Amcham’s members list ….);
(ii) sending of promotional and /or informative material related to Amcham Italy events and/or communications.
- The processing shall be carried either manually or through electronic means;
- The providing of the Data in compliance to point (i) above is compulsory for the registration on the site and the carrying out of all the related activities;
- Pursuant to article 7 of the Decree:
1. the Data Subject has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or non of its Data, even if not yet registered, and its communication in an intelligible manner;
2. the Data Subject has the right to obtain indication of:
a) the origin of its Data;
b) the purposes and method of processing;
c) the logic used in case of processing through the use of electronic means;
d) identification of the Data Processor and Responsible of the Data, if designated;
e) the subjects or categories of subjects to whom the Data may be communicated or which may have knowledge of the Data in their quality of designated representative in the territory of the State, responsible or entrusted;
3. Data Subject has the right to obtain:
a) the update, amendment or, if interested, the integration of the Data;
b) the cancellation, transformation in anonymous way or the block of the Data processed in violation of the law, including such Data of which the storage is not necessary with respect to the scope for which it is processed;
c) the declaration that the subjects to whom the Data has been communicated have been made aware of the activities and contents of letters a) and b) above, unless such undertaking is impossible or requires a major effort with respect to the right object of protection.
4. The Data Subject has the right to oppose itself, in whole or on part:
a) to the processing of its Data, for legitimate reasons, even if relevant to the processing itself;
b) to the processing of the its Data for the sending of advertising material or direct sales or for the carrying out of market researches or commercial communications.
